Manager - Respiratory Therapy

Full-time Permanent, 37.5hrs/week.
Base Salary $90,000 - $110,000/yr

We are recruiting an experienced Respiratory Therapist to become Manager of our Kingston operation. Leading a team of professionals (clinical and non-clinical), the manager ensures the successful integration of services to provide exceptional patient care throughout the greater Kingston area. In addition to maintaining your clinical competencies, this role offers a unique and challenging opportunity to develop and build professional relationships with community healthcare professionals, senior living partnerships, and hospital contacts in the region.

Expectations of role include (but not limited to):
- Maintains client care standards with effective resource utilization
- Develop annual business plans and budgets
- Establish goals and objectives in alignment with corporate policies, procedures and standards
- Manages both physical and human resources for the operation
- Provides developmental training, mentorship and performance measures to staff
- Operates to applicable quality standards as outlined by senior leadership.
- Ensures compliance with relevant legislation such as Human Rights Code, Employment Standards, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Transportation, Health Canada
- A minimum of 5yrs clinical expertise as a Respiratory Therapist is desired and beneficial.
- Your active registration (or eligibility for registration) with the CRTO.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is preferred
- Formal business education considered an asset
- Excellent communications skills; demonstrated with aptitude for effective communication with multiple stakeholders, through a variety of methods
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Valid G driver’s license and comfortable with driving in all weather conditions.
- Participation in applicable background checks as an ongoing condition of employment.
- Base Salary between $90,000 - $110,000 per annum.
- 10% annual management incentive program.
